Ricardo Sandoval is a native Clevelander from a large Filipino and Irish American family. He has spent nearly his entire life working in restaurants with much of his early experience in Italian fine dining. His passion for food and fire could not keep him away from the kitchen. The bohemian spirit and allure of Tremont led him to open Fat Cats in 1997. He is known throughout the city for his fusion cuisine, pioneering farm-to-table and zealous hospitality.
