KING NUT STADIUM PEANUTS
In 2003 rival Cleveland peanut companies King Nut and The Peterson Nut Company finally merges after nearly a century of fighting to be Cleveland's premier peanut roaster. In 1937, King Nut began with one truck on Miles Avenue in downtown Cleveland, selling sacks of peanuts for 5 or 10 cents a piece. Ten years prior, The Peterson Nut Company has already started roasting peanuts for Clevelanders, but focused more on supplying national stadiums and ballparks with fresh peanuts. Combined, the two companies have created an unstoppable peanut empire.
